Newton's cradle is a device which conservation of swinging sphere's
momentum and energy, when the first sphere lifted and released, it's transmitting a force through the stationary spheres that pushes the last sphere upward. Then it swings back and strikes the nearly stationary spheres, repeating the effect in the opposite direction. Choreographer got the inspiration from momentum and energy of device use the sound of metronome for creating the dance movement focusing on sent/receive dynamic in the various space and time that try to avoid the force of rhythm which expect the audience focus on movement more than sound.
